Located on the west side of the Ivorian coastline at 9 °
32 north latitude and 6 °  29 west longitude (4 ° 51 'N 6 ° 42' W / 4.85, -6.70)
San Pedro Port is located on the Atlantic Ocean in the Guinea’s Gulf , at 170 nautical miles from Abidjan the economic capital of Côte d’Ivoire. This port is presented as "the 2nd pole of development of Côte d'Ivoire" , and specialized in exporting agricultural products such as coffee and cocoa. San port harbor is considered as the world first cocoa exporting harbor.

Fishing port information

 

With a total area of 18,727 m2, the fishing port disposes of infrastructure and superstructure to accommodate trawlers and motorized canoes.

 

The fishing port is composed of:

  •   A 300 m2 office building, housing both the services of the Port and the Aquaculture and Fisheries Department of Animal     Production.
  • An access channel 300 meters long, 30 meters wide and a draft of - 4 m
  •  A sheet pile wharf of 160 meters with 50 meters of wharf for fishing boats based in - 3.5 meters and a 110 meter quay for         boats based on - 2 meters.
  •  An area of 600 m2  for net repair
  • A water tower of  8 meters high, with a freshwater tank of 5 T and an administrative building of 300 m2
  •  A hangar landing  of 500 m2
  •  A sales areaof3200m2forfish fully equipped
  •  Twocoldstorageandconservation areas  of fishery products
